【出口商】怎么要求客户修改或延展信用证L/C？【国际贸易付款】外贸商务英语

信用证（Letter of Credit, L/C）是国际贸易中最常见的付款方式之一。

前面几期我们介绍了信用证的内容和种类，今天我们从具体操作层面来看，作为出口商，怎么要求客户修改信用证，以及延展信用证的装运期和有效期？

出口商要求修改信用证

收到信用证后，要先仔细检查，如果发现其条款和合同、销售确认书不相符时，必须要求进口方修改信用证，其要点包括：

1. 确认收到相关信用证
2. 说明信用证有不符之处
3. 指出具体的错误
4. 要求修改
5. 期盼回复

出口商要求延展信用证

当出口商在信用证规定的期限内并不能装运时，就得请求进口商延展信用证的装运期和有效期，其内容一般包括：

1. 指出相关信用证及期限
2. 请求延展信用证
3. 说明延展的理由
4. 说明延展的期限
5. 期盼回复

*注：

• 有关信用证的信函需语言简洁，语气诚恳。
• 如果是己方不慎给对方带来了麻烦，一定要道歉。同时，对于对方的要求，在不影响己方利益的前提下也最好尽量满足。

Shipment 装运相关

Please amend L/C No.180 as allowing transshipment and partial shipments.

请修改第180号信用证，允许转船和分批装运。

Since there is no direct ship sailing for your port, we would request you to amend your L/C to allow transshipment.

由于没有驶往你港的直达轮，我方要求修改信用证，允许转船。

The bill of landing should be “…” instead of “…”

提单应为“…”，而不是“…”

Order 订单相关

Amount should be increased up to $100,000.

金额应该增至 100,000美元。

The amount both in figures and in words should respectively read “…”

大小写金额应分别为“…”

Quantity should be reduced to 152 cartons.

数量应该减至152箱。

Payment 支付相关

Please delete from the L/C the clause, “All bank commissions and charges are for beneficiary’s account”. Such should be paid by the importing party only.

请从信用证中删去此条款：“所有银行佣金和费用由受益人支付”，这些费用理应由进口方承担。

出口商要求延展信用证

As there is not direct ship available this month, we should like to request you to extend the validity of your L/C No. 1234 to August 15.

由于本月没有直达轮，我方要求延长第1234号信用证的有效期至8月15日。

Owing to the delay in opening L/C, shipment cannot be made as contracted and should be postponed to September.

由于开证延误，装运不能按合同进行，要延迟到9月份。

Please extend the validity of the letter of credit No. 180 to September 20.

请将第180号信用证延期至9月20日。

Please have the L/C No. 180 extended until September 20 so that we may make shipment without fail.
