(1) We have booked space on s. s. 'Long Wind' for the shipment of chemical fertiliz-er under Order No. 1999. The goods are to be made in four equal lots beginning from Janu-ary,with transshipment at Hong Kong.
(2) We have pleasure in booking your 7 cases of glass tea sets for this vessels.
(3) We shall book shipping space on that vessel on receipt of your L/C amendment.
(4) We are under the necessity of requesting you to allow transshipment in Singa-pore.
(5) Transshipment is allowed.
(6) Partial shipments are allowed.
(7) Shipment can not be made within the prescribed time, and should be postponed tothe next month aS the manufacturers have not gotten all the quantity ready.
(8) Owing to the delay in opening the relevant L/C, we cannot guarantee to get thegoods dispatched within the contracted time.
(9) The goods have long been packed for delivery, but as your L/C is rather late, wecan not effect shipment within the stipulated time.
(10) If you agree to have the goods in two equal lots,please let us know so that wecan make arrangements accordingly.
(11) We are informed that a vessel is due to sail for Hong Kong on Friday, so thatyour cargo must surely arrive within a week from the date.
(12) Would you ship the goods by the first available steamer next month?
(13) There are no more sails for London this month.
(14) If you could manage to catch that vessel then everything will be all right.
(15) Any delay in shipment would be detrimental to our future business.
(16) We shall do our best to make delivery of the goods next month.
(17) Please see to it that the first lot under Sales Contract No. 67 is shipped by thesecond s. s. 'Shanghai' this month.
(18) Would you please ship the above goods for delivery not later than 30 June?
(19) The date of next sailinq is 4th April.
